Diamond Dual- Toros 14u Majors (2017)

Video of Xander behind the plate:

Day one, game one.. started off slow. 8am games suck. about the last inning the boys woke up and took the win. Xander caught that game, and did a great job. We played Badgers, so Xander got to see Mikey.

We had a break between games..

We were set to place Aces next. One of the Slam boys was still playing with Aces, so of course the before the game he told them how the aces were going to win.

Xander and Ozzy have a special hand-shake:

And we took the WIN! Beat the Aces!

We seeded 1st place. Sunday were set to play Xtreme. If we won that we would play in the Championship game..

After a long game, we were tied. We took the win and went to the championship!

The last 60 seconds of the game. Zakk Stevers to bat, Cesar was at 3rd. Cesar would be the winning run:

Here is the last 1 1/2 of the game:

So then we had to wait and see who we were playing for the Championship game. They had to drive to our field...

Casey came to show support
and then.. SN titans rolled in..

Last 15 minutes of the game:
I was excited for Xander. He has a lot of rings and trophies, but since starting club ball they all came with falling 2nd place. When he went to the Dominican he placed first, but never in the US has be placed 1st. I had tears in my eyes. I was super excited for him.

Tyler showed up for the championship game to watch. I fixed his shirt. He knows he should have been playing with us.

This was the tournament that I knew Coach Joe was going to be good for Xander. He see's something in Xander, and can push him in a way shows Xander he believes in him, with Xander thats what he thrives on. He will push himself harder, play harder, and never give up with a coach like that.
