Sandlot Shootout

Our team, has grown! We took on more kids in the hope of creating 2 teams. We had many kids age 11, and then kids age 12. So in August our 11 year old boys will play 12U and then the 12 year old boys will move up to 13U. Currently as I write this we have 20 boys on our roster. So, we separated the boys for this tournament to see how we did. At the time of this tournament we did not have 20 boys, so we took on a few guest players. Boys we knew and that had played with some of the boys before.
The 11U boys played first, Xander and I made it to game 2. During game one, Xander was doing batting practice with Coach Jesse.
The boys won game one, but lost game 2. I cant remember the scores. But they run ruled game 1.

Day 1 we lost one, and won one. Day 2 we won. But only the top 2 teams continued on.

I really enjoyed watching these games with our guest players families. (pictures of them not posted)

I was very proud of both teams. They played well!
