during some of this time, Our coach Jesse was away from the team. Was a big loss for us. The kids really just loved and respected him. The owners tried out a few other coaches, One was nice, but wasnt a good fit. One most of the kids did not like, he was around for a little while. But then one day was gone. If the kids dont respect the coach, its very hard on their development, because they just dont respond to them. We did have Little Mario's dad (Mario)coaching, and we loved that. Xander really respects him, and will listen to him. I always said I dont like "dad-coaches" because of the money we spend. However, Mario ran his own club ball team at one point. He knows a lot about baseball. He is experienced. For sure he does not favor his son at all. He will be the first to pull his son. He is also very fair with all the kids (as in their training).
With all that said, he really missed Jessse!!!

One of our games we got to play SN. Which was a team full of his Puma team mates. He was so excited for this one!

This one is Xander and Garret. Garret is an amazing 1st baseman! I have yet to see a kid stretch as far as he can to catch a ball, yet have his foot on 1st, to make an out!
This one is Xander and Donovan. Xander got his out trying to steal on him. He must have thought Xander being his friend, that he wouldnt. Xander also knew that these boys may try to steal on him, so he was ready for it!
